HOMELESS OUTREACH COORDINATOR

The Cornerstone of Beaver County (TCBC) is a 501c3 nonprofit located in Beaver Falls, PA.  TCBC is hiring a full-time (40hrs per week) Homeless Outreach Coordinator, whose standard work hours are completed Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The position is primarily site-based at The Cornerstone of Beaver County located at 600 6^th Street, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 with offsite traveling as needed. This is a one-year grant funded position.

This position will:

• Provide case management to clients who are waiting to receive housing services.
• Conduct homeless outreach in the community to engage households that otherwise may not have access to needed services. These services include shelters, accessing coordinated entry, food banks/pantries, employment, etc.
• Transport clients as needed to shelter and other social service agencies both in and out of the County.
• Respond to community concerns regarding homeless households that need immediate assistance.
• Maintain a working knowledge of locations where homeless households spend time.
• Assist with planning of all homeless outreach efforts.
• Participate in all homeless outreach efforts.
• Play an active role in planning and carrying out the yearly Point in Time survey.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
